Theodora Athanitis, Fantis ‘15, is Brooklyn Tech Valedictorian

Theodora Athanitis, Fantis ‘15 Alumna, 2019 Brooklyn Technical High School Valedictorian

Theodora is graduating from Brooklyn Technical High School as valedictorian of her class of 1,600 students. At Tech, she was a Gateway to Medicine major and hopes to continue on that path. She spent most of her high school career volunteering at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and conducting research at NYU Tandon. This fall she will be attending the University of Pennsylvania as a Biological Basis or Behavior major with a Psychology minor. Theodora says, “Transitioning from a class of nine to a school of 6,000, I realized that A. Fantis helped me develop and foster my work ethic. While BK Tech exposed me to new perspectives and experiences, my time at Fantis is what allowed me to take advantage of those opportunities.”
