What the PTO Supports
While building community is at the heart of what we do, the PTO also plays a key role in fundraising for the school. Here’s how your involvement makes a difference:
- Annual support for the Teachers' Choice Fund that brings creativity and additional learning opportunities to the classroom.
- Major capital improvements such as the rooftop playground, heating system, renovated bathrooms, and classroom renovations to accommodate the growing student body.
- Special projects including wardrobes for dance and drama, drums for the student drumline, and the 2024-2025 Hatch the Chicken program enjoyed by all grades.
We are also working on a Capital Campaign to redesign and construct a new 2nd-floor multipurpose space that will benefit the entire school community, as well as restructuring classrooms on upper floors to support future growth.
Used Uniform Sales
Thanks to parent donations, the PTO has Used Uniform Sales three times a year, to help supplement family uniform needs throughout the year. These sales are donation based and not all uniform items and sizes will be available. It is not intended to be the main source of uniform purchases. Please refer to the A. Fantis Dress Code & Land’s End for detailed information.
Donations can be dropped off the day before or the morning of a scheduled sale ONLY. Please do not bring uniform donations during unscheduled times, as there is nowhere to store them.
Yearly Used Uniform Sale Schedule:
- October, before the switch to Winter Uniforms
- March, before the switch to Spring Uniforms
- June, at the the end of each school year
Specific dates & times will be communicated in the newsletters, through Bloomz & email notifications.
Celebrate With Us
The PTO also funds and organizes joyful celebrations throughout the year tied to major holidays and milestones in our school calendar. Learn more at our monthly meetings or email us anytime!
