A. Fantis Parochial School is located at 195 State Street, between Court Street and Boerum Place, in Brooklyn Heights.

To A. Fantis by school bus:

A. Fantis Parochial School currently offers a free school bus service to students in Brooklyn who live in Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Park Slope, and Cobble Hill.

Other routes may be offered, depending on the location of students attending the school. Please contact the school office with any queries you may have regarding this service.

Subway and Public Bus Passes

NYC Metro Cards are made available to eligible students upon completion of the required form from the Bureau of Pupil Transportation.

Parents must speak to the school secretary if they wish their children to travel by bus or subway.

These passes (1/2 and Full) may be given to students from Grades K – 8th.

To A. Fantis by car:

Parking: Street parking is in very short supply. Public parking lots are located opposite the school on State Street, or one block north on Schermerhorn Street (between Court Street and Boerum Place). There is also a lot on Boerum Place, at Atlantic Avenue.

From Manhattan: Take the Brooklyn Bridge, exit right on Cadman Plaza. At the first light, make a left and drive seven blocks down Cadman Plaza West/Court Street until you reach State Street. (A large cinema will be on your right). Make a left onto State Street. A. Fantis is on the left side of the block.

From the north: Follow the BQE (I-278) west to the Brooklyn Bridge exit. Exit left and follow Cadman Plaza West until you reach State Street. Make a left onto State Street. A. Fantis is on the left side of the block.

From the south: Follow the BQE (I-278) east and exit at Atlantic Avenue. Turn right at Atlantic, go three blocks east on Atlantic Avenue and turn left on Clinton Street. Follow Clinton Street one block up to State Street. Turn right onto State Street. A. Fantis is two blocks over, on the left side of the second block.
