Principal’s Update

Dear Parents, Faculty and Staff,

Congratulations to our 8th Graders, who received letters of acceptance to various prestigious New York City High Schools!

You are cordially invited to attend our Annual Greek Independence Day Program in the school Auditorium on Thursday, March 22nd at 7:00pm. The Greek Department, under the able direction of Mrs. Tasia Eleftheriades, has planned a wonderful evening.  In addition, students in Grades 1 through 8 will march in the Greek Parade on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan on Sunday afternoon, March 25th.  While it is not mandatory for students in Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten to march with the school, the students are welcome to march with their parents, along with the P.T.O.

Please join us for our annual Fundraising Auction on Saturday, April 21st at Thalassa Restaurant. The annual Auction has become our school’s major fundraising event. The generosity and support of current school families, alumni/ae, the wider Greek-American community, and friends from far and wide have enabled the School Board to initiate a significant program of improvements.  For more information, please click on "Annual Auction" under the Community tab of our website.

The last day of school before Easter recess will be Friday, April 6th.  Students will return on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. 

Our next Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, May 9th from 3pm-5pm.
